May I also add Easy hammocks. Great starter hammocks complete with insulation. I have no connection, just actually seen them in person and was impressed with the product.

Awesome thread!! I honestly didn’t know about some of those uk based sellers.
I knew about DD who Iv used one rthe years but not now really.
I wasn’t sure that uk hammocks was still a company, wouldn’t use them again as they tried to screw me over with a top quilt.
And also used henge hammocks too, but again wouldn’t use of recommend them, spent £50 on some webbing so I could have black bird suspension, he sent me some out, I put up my hammock and sank to the floor.
Told him about it, he sent out more, but I’m pretty sure it’s exactly the same stuff as exactly the same happened!! Sent him a message telling him about it, he didn’t even have the decenty to reply to me.
So now I would rather pay the extra from Dutch for anything I need rather than risk getting ripped off by one of our own!!
Sorry to be negative, just wanted to share my experience.

Also unfortunately rogue hammocks and easy hammock websites don’t seem to be working!! What a real shame, the uk really does need a good lightweight hammock seller. Also someone who can sew top quilts and under quilts!! But at prices that means it’s not cheaper to import them from HG etc!! I don’t even know if that’s possible?

I'm not sure whats going on with Easyhammocks. I'll probably see him in August, I'll find out then.

I noticed his Easyhammocks website is down too, perhaps he is having a new site being done? He is still active over on BCUK, he has organised a groupbuy for AquaQuest tarps, I hope he keeps trading.

Yeah, I'm in that group buy!

I was quite tempted by the group buy, but I am still dithering over my tarp choice.
