With the gorgeous weather we've been enjoying I thought it about time that I get some miles in and end up with a hang in a picturesque woodland. I was accompanied by a work colleague who is eager to start hammock camping (2nd trip out).
8 miles of up and downs in the blazing heat and I was just about ready for some scran and a bevvy or 4. I cast my eye over my mate setting up not wanting take over and the boy done good, infact it was my marlin spike hitch that failed sending me ground bound. good night was had by all.

Good to see this cracking weather ain't going to waste.
I think tarps were surplus to requirement.

Didn't need tarps but rather Johnny practised in good weather than bad.
