| Just back from a Thurs-Sun outing and boy was it wet & windy! Tried out the 'no tarp ridgeline' method (attaching the tarp to the hammock suspension - Loved it! much, easier/ quicker to set up and tear down. The new 'Peak Shelf' from Dutchware was great too Tried Idahoan mashed potato with cheddar, also a winner! A great trip, can't wait for the next one. | Amazing photos! How did you attach the tarp to the hammock suspension? Prusik knot on tree strap or directly to the cinch buckles / beetle buckles / other hardware? Did you use shock cord to prevent the sag of the tarp when the hammock is loaded? Pics or it didn't happen! | |

Pics or it didn't happen! The first/ top pick shows it! IMG_5461 (2) by Steve Boulter, on Flickr" /> Tarp attached to tree straps by prusik knot (with release loops through them) with toggles to put through keyring loops on the tarp ends. Yes shock cord attached to zing-it guy lines via tarphooks. Cheers Steve | |
