I’m not sure if this is in the right section, but I’m after some advice!! As getting out locally is a real pain in the butt for me at the moment, I really want to make a hammock stand! Looking on hammock forums there are 3 good choices. Turtledog, Tensahedren (if spelt correct) and also merely stand that use 2 legs at each end and solid ridge pole. Just wondered if anyone in the uk has any experience of any of these? Sourcing some of the parts these guys have used are a nightmare, and also expensive, especially for the 3rd stand listed. Anyway, let’s see ya stands!!! Cheers

Can you sink two fence posts in the ground? That would be a simple, cheap option. I have seen some stands using simple construction timbers too.

May be sink two pipes as capsule for a removable fence posts? If the top of the pipes is equal with the lawn surface, they won‘t disturb.

Could you fix an eye onto the wall of the house as your attachment point at one end and use half a tensahedron stand at the other. This is me using that setup, but with a tree not a wall,
