Ahh, I don't use the additional ridgeline loops, I don't use a continuous ridgeline.

If you use the panel tie outs they are prone to fail very easy.

Ahh, OK. My DD 4x4m doesn't have any panel pulls, just loops on the ridgeline.
On my DIY tarp, I was advised to just glue on panel pulls with Silnet. That way, if they pull off, they don't damage the tarp. Three years and counting, haven't fallen off yet!

Actually yes, technically not on the panels. But if you use ridgeline pulls as panel pulls they tear.

It has happened to both our 4.5x3 so I would recommend you reinforce them first before you try that!
